Christmas Giveaways 2012

I have an Ansco Memar Pronto.. same thing with that green glue of death. After a couple weeks of persistence, soaking in lighter fluid, boiling, gently picking with a toothpick etc.. I got it all cleaned up and working properly again. I'm very careful now coming across anything Agfa/Ansco in testing the lenses before I buy. Fun little camera to use though. It was worth the work.

Finally had a chance for my first offering...

Ansco Super Memar (Agfa Super Silette) 35mm Rangefinder camera in BGN condition. This model has the Apotar 45/3.5 and Prontor SVS shutter, complete with a rather well fitting Kodak leather never-ready in EX condition. Overall, pretty nice shape. Advances fine. Times seem good. Still some contrast in the patch(es).

BAD NEWS: Typical sticky focus -currently limited to 8ft -> INF.

GOOD NEWS: Fix right on RFF site here!

I bought it as a project and never found the time.

As before, US please. First PM gets it for cost of shipping!

Happy Holidays

For those interested in lomography I have Elikon 535 to give away. It seems to be working fine (I have the film mid roll now in this camera so I'll just need to finish it before I can send the camera). Free shipping in EU.

Elikon was shipped to Fred in London.

My turn!

1. Fujifilm Clearshot 30. Was a great compact camera for the family before. Last time I used, it was working.

2. Defective Mju-I. Last time I used it the lens does not contract after shutter release.

3. Kiev leather case

4. Nikon SLR case.

Just PM for those who are interested. Thanks!

Nice lens with Zorki ! I would be glad to try it, but I have my 50 mm.

The Industar is spoken for, folks.

Nice lens with Zorki ! I would be glad to try it, but I have my 50 mm.

I got it with a pretty good Zorki 1...in fact I chose the particular Zorki because it came with this lens. It is ok but I much prefer my very good sample of the Jupiter-8. And I also have a rigid I-50 that I like better as well. That lens came with a very good metal screw in hood.

I have also found my FED Micron2 camera. I will give this away as well.
It is cosmetically pretty good BUT the shutter is not opening/firing. So if anyone wants a non working Micron2 to fiddle with or get repaired, again, PM me please.
As before, shipped free in the US, please paypal me $5 for world wide shipping. And I will not be able to ship until shortly before Xmas, so you likely won't see the package before next year.
I don't currently have a battery in it but the last time I tried to use it, the meter seemed fairly accurate. This camera uses a PX625 cell, I think.
Merry Xmas!
Rob

Hi all,
Its been another fun year hanging out here at RFF. Thank you all for all the thoughtful and enthusiastic posts of the technical, artistic, and retail nature. And a special thanks to all the moderators here who do such a splendid job of keeping the hoi polloi in line. :p

I've got a few things to give away to anyone interested. These are all small items and thus not worth shipping outside the U.S., so only for CONUS members. Here's the list; send me a PM... 'first come, first served':

1) [Update: Brian got the XA] I was recently going through stuff left behind by my dad and found what's looks to be a properly functioning Olympus XA. Its in user condition. The A11 flash doesn't seem to work, but its included. Owner's manuals also included. I'll also put a little 'cherry' on top... a new roll of Portra 160.

2) Black metal body cap for Leicaflex camera. Looks new.

3) [Update: Froyd got the strap] Camera strap for Rolleiflex camera. New, Chinese-made, olive green fabric.

4) Nikon F3HP instruction manual.

Thanks Jamie for the beautiful strap and the nice addition of a postcard from SF!

I've got a 77mm circular polarizer I used to use on my Nikon 80-200/2.8! I don't have the lens anymore... or any lens that has a 77mm filter ring.

Also, still up for grabs is a rollei prego zoom and a pentax zoom 90!

Ok- several things to offer:
58mm metal screw-in lens cap, very thin, black with a machined silver line; no brand marking but a sticker inside says "LENS CAP 58m/m Japan"

Two lens reversal rings for using lenses reversed to shoot macro on Pentax K mount SLR's; one for 52mm filter thread lenses. This one is all black, very thin, with a nice knurled edge between lens and body mount sides. Marked "PK 52 Japan".
The other is for 49mm filter thread lenses to Pentax. This one is black, too, with a thicker and wider. Grip edge has black knurled edge alternating with machined smooth silver areas; makes a cool effect and easy to grasp. Marked with a sticker "FOR PENTAX-M49"

No name step-up ring, 58mm->67mm black

Tiffen Step down ring, 52mm down to 49mm filter

Ok, here's a weird one: Radio slave transmitter and receiver. This unit was a pre-production sample I was given to test eight or nine years ago (it worked great, and still does, though the transmitter may need a new battery- available and Radio Shack or anywhere else that sells button cells). This needs to be used with a studio strobe pack that uses a 1/4" phono type sync plug; also, the receiver gets power directly from the wall plug (inline). It's the original version of this one: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/443284-REG/Impact_R616_AC_16_Channel_Radio.html but it doesn't have selectable channels. (The link doesn't show the transmitter, and the one I have looks a little different, being older, but it is included- so anyone who wants this will get the whole set.

I'll poke around and see if there's anything else I can find...
Does anyway want any outdated 4x5 chrome film? I have daylight and tungsten balance, in fresh packages in my freezer that are now several years past date...

PM me on anything you might be interested. Free shipping in the US for small single items. For shipping abroad or larger boxes you'll pay shipping. Thanks! Happy Holidays all!
