What camera are you carrying RIGHT NOW?

Yet again the Yashica J-7 with 50/1.7. Last roll devved in way too old Fomadon R09:( Came out very thin. Another try today!

Mercury2-02.jpg

Just loaded it with a roll of Lucky 200 Color to see if it all works after the CLA

The camera I took on my bicycle just now is a 1961 M3 with 1959 Elmar 50/2.8. That Mercury camera looks like a Cardassian device from Star Trek DS9, Mr_Flibble.

There is an article on the Mercury II on page 90 of this week's Amateur Photographer (2/3/13).

The magazine contents are only available online to subscribers so I am unable to provide a link.

The reviewer/collector counted 167 numbers on the camera. A camera for those more numerate than me.

I always feel that it looks like the love child of a parking meter and a 3D View Master :D
When I just got it it actually sounded like a parking meter too when you fired the shutter.

LesTele, Yep. There's a lot of numbers on it, what with the DOF table on both sides of the camera and the frame counter going up to 65.
Not to mention an exposure calculator that took up 2.5 pages of the manual to explain :)

iPhone 4S and iPad mini.

Got so much other stuff to process right now I decided not to carry a camera until I worked my way through half of it...

M2 and Canon 50/1.8 LTM loaded with Provia 100F. Why I picked a rainy, near-sunless week to try and shoot a roll of 100 speed slide film, I have no idea.

What camera do you have with you now?

Currently, I have with me a Leica iiia with 50mm summicron, and a Sony A77V with a 2.8, 16-50mm lens and a spare Minolta 50mm 1.7 lens.

CL/35 color Skopar, Ikonta 520, Exakta Varex IIb/Vivitar 105. All loaded with HP5 (though metering for ISO 125 with the Ikonta, because it responded so well (=fine grain/sharpness) to an earlier roll accidentally exposed thus.
