Mr. Fibble - Nice shot of weapons. Especially the grease gun. One of the more interesting weapons of WWII. I forget what it cost to make, but as weapons go, it was pennies. I think it was under $20, but whatever, cheap for the time and utility.

Missed this comment, sorry. Thanks.
The 'Grease Gun' in this photo is an M3A1 Submachine Gun. It's a little historical slip-up for the Summer 1944 scenario. This particular model (without the charging handle that was prone to breaking) wasn't actually approved until December 1944 and did not arrive in Europe until after the end of the war in Europe. ;)
I recall reading they cost about $15 to make. That is still 3 times cheaper then the M1A1 Thompson submachine gun at the time.
The M3A1's were still carried in the M2 Bradleys during Desert Storm as I recall. :D

Superb, Chris! And coming from the big Fuji, I imagine that with the negative and a loupe you can probably pick out individual plankton in those tidal pools...

Fall leaves on the Maples-looking west

Another shot with my GSW690III looking from the opposite side/west, taken about an hour later. Yes I realize not as many Maple leaves as my 645 photos, but taken in the same wash.

Namaste

Louis, I've seen many pictures of Holly Village...yours is the best yet. 2:1 aspect ratio, time of day, camera position, detail, all well suited.

That Fuji 65mm is a beauty, isn't it? $1200 lens welded to a $200 body.
