This old thread has fine looking B&W images demonstrating this lens. It was the first 50/2 I had and I used it exclusively for years. It’s excellent for portraits and landscape. The focus tab and mounting size are ergonomic. The aperture less so but I normally meter, set aperture and start shooting. If you shoot a subject with strong sidelight and use a modern M-Hex 50/2 for the next frame you see on the negative the collapsible has less contrast. It has beautiful OOF rendering at f/4 and makes exceptional smooth portraits.
