Canon 50mm F1.4, wide-open on the M Monochrom. But not the one you think of.
RF coupled to 0.65m. I went on a convert SLR lens to RF coupled M-Mount some 10 years ago. Canon FL mount 50/1.4 V2.

You have several special lenses, Erik.
Maybe you should give us here some overview of each of your special lenses one day.

There is such a lens for sale on ebay for 30k EURO.

No, that is another lens, but looks like it. It's the number that is important, 1703XXX, 1959. Balsam separation was often a problem in the later type. I myself have one with such a problem, 18XXXXX.

I get it now. It is the early number. The ebay lens has number 2 xxx xxx

Yes, the early number. Most likely the design of the early lens is not by Leitz, but by Taylor, Taylor & Hobson. The collaboration between the two firms already existed in the 1920s. Zeiss was already working on the Sonnar at the time and Leitz wanted a faster lens for the Leica. That's why Leitz sought cooperation with the English firm.
