I think an 85 f/1.5 wide open would stretch the focusing accuracy of most Leica bodies. I think an M3 or a 0.85 M6 plus the 1.25x magnifier would not be wasted on this lens!

I would like to "fall into" a Nikkor 8.5cm F1.5, but at 5x the price of the Canon- hard to justify. Also 5x the price of the 7artisans 75/1.25.
Canon 85/1.5, wide-open on the Leica M9. "Follow-Focus", the long-focus of the older lenses make them easier to focus while panning.
