My digital daily carry is a Nikon Coolpix A. While expensive when first released, I held out until I was able to grab a Nikon refurbished version for about $350. A great little camera which is easy to pocket.

A few favorites I've taken with this camera

Nice images! These advanced comnpacts are really quite something in terms of being cameras that can always be withyou.

The colro shots look very saturated, is this an intentioanl post processing choice, a built-in JPG setting that enhanches color, or is this the basic out-of-camera look?

Thank you. Most of that is post-processing. I shoot RAW 100% of the time.

Great images, man. I wish I'd picked up a refurbished Coolpix A when I had the chance, too. But it felt like duplication with my Ricoh GR, which is now on the fritz. Should have bought the A.
