You won't go wrong if ever you decide. I think most of the RX100 users now are confident enough to bring just this camera for daily use. It's a bit pricey but value for money is excellent.

Haha, I'm used to pricey, this camera is not pricey. Unless you mean for a P&S.
 
Steve, nice images here. I'm wondering what's going on with depth of field in some of these. The one that first raised a question in my mind is the picture of the girl sitting down in the background, and the fellow's knapsack in the foreground... both sharp. But other things in the picture that would seem to me ought to be in focus are not. It looks like you're using some sort of shift/tilt lens instead of the RX100. How do you get that effect? Thanks.
