Too Many X's!!!

Hi Dave!

I have the X1 and X(113).

X1 is a great pocket camera as you know. About the size of a Barnack. The X is as someone has said in this thread the size of a M6 however it's about 1/2 the weight. It will fit in a big cargo pocket on Shorts (without the EVF). They are totally different. The X has a fantastic fast lens, bigger sensor , better ISO, video and more features. The best part of the X that I like is the manual focus ring on the lens. It automatically activates the focus assist on the screen and makes it super easy to focus. All of that comes with the price of a bigger body. I still use the X1 for the reasons explained in this thread. It's like picking up a IIIF with a 35 MM Summaron loaded with Tri-X.

I just weighted the X. 17 OZ
II with Summitar 24 OZ

Lastly you might want to consider a T. Get the M-T adapter and use all your M lenses. Same sensor as the X. Its bigger yet and heavier but a unique camera all the same.

Cheers!
Jim
