Borrowed the lens, loved it. Didn't buy it because I was selling my Bessa and my M5 doesn't have 75mm framelines.

<snip> the Heliar is nice, but not really special in any way, imho. sold it rather quickly.

Only had my 75mm Heilar for 2 weeks but appreciate the fact that it is nothing special. I like lenses with zero character and this is similar to my Zeiss Biogons. There is nothing that would detract any attention from the subject of my photos. Just the way I want it.

Now I am unsure if the focal length is going to work for me. The longest lens I use now is a 35mm. But I am giving it a try.

If I ever shoot an interesting photo with the Heilar, I will post it. So far all I have is family happy snaps.

I just bought it on ebay for 250 euros.
It was an impulse buy, I remember how funny it was to shoot with my Pentax 77m and kind of missed that focal length on my M6, saw this one in mint conditions for a relatively low starting price and made my offer. Apparently I was the only one interested so I got it for the starting price.
Hopefully I'll be posting some pictures soon!
