Chris, after lifting that combo, the R-D1 with 35/1.2 Nokton felt like a feather! It's impressive but quite specialized, eg min focus is 3m.

Well that last sentence is obviously not true any more...
Part of me wish that posts were permanently stamped with the avatar that was in use at the time of posting..but I also know that would be uber confusing.

It could have been the old wild West.... The drifter had been drinking and was looking to have a shoot out with the new sheriff and his dinky little M4. They finally met just past high noon, back of the OK corral. The town folks ran for cover so as not to get caught in the cross fire. Shoot outs between SLRs and range finders could quickly turn nasty. The drifter started his draw, but the sheriff was faster... His hands were a blur as he focused his Leica and got off the first shot.... The drifter finally got a shot off, but by this time the sheriff had taken his second shot and it was all over.
