Where to buy Xpan/TX in 2019

There are plenty of TX1 and TX2 for sale in Japan if you know where to look, but no bargains...
(I bought my TX2 from a Tokyo camera shop, which listed the shutter count as being practically new/minimally used)
You could ask Japan Camera Hunter to try sourcing one for you?
Or get on Chrome with autotranslate turned on and search all the Japanese camera store websites...

ah he has one for sale at the moment:

I also recently gave up on fighting the GAS and acquired a Mamiya 7 + 65mm for the sake of the rangefinder and the ability to shoot 35mm panoramas.

Shot my first roll with an 3D printed adapter and was instantly hooked! The additional markings in the viewfinder are very helpful for the framing!
Currently awaiting the parcel with the original panoramic adapter! :D

If you’re even more on a budget, a Mamiya 6 MF might be an even more affordable and portable option!

I will actually be in Japan in September, so that might not be a bad plan...

I recently purchased a Fuji TX-1 from ebay and a seller in Japan. The sale was fantastic. The seller, Irohas Camera answered all my questions, sent me additional photos and offered 30 day returns. Once I purchased the camera, it was shipped and I received it in 3 days and even though listed as excellent condition, it was a mint copy. Very happy!

If you are visiting Tokyo later this year, Film Camera Tokyo in Harajuku seems to have a few of both the Fuji and the Hasselblads always listed at prices a little bit more reasonible than Japan Camera Hunter. Might be worth a look:

Good luck on the search!
