I'll be honest and say I voted for another; but I love how this is already working out and yours was my no. 2 choice (so under the new rules you still would have gotten points).

Meanwhile, I really need to go through my archives for something that says "family" for January. If I thought I had a picture in my archives that said "holidays" I would have entered in December.

Thanks a lot Jan. Your picture is gorgeous and I'm also glad you won. As I told you, I loved that time when you were boosting the gallery with your supportive comments and I'm happy you're back here! So both for your picture and your human quality, you deserved to win this contest.

I've sent Marc my suggestion for the next Magic Roll Salon. I believe he will be posting something on that shortly unless he has any thoughts prior to the notice going up.

I confirm that.
But the delay is not due to any "prior thoughts..." but kind of emergency: my little daughter is sick since yesterday (gastroenteritis) and I have some trouble in focusing on my job. I'm sorry. But don't worry, I still keep an eye on RFF and drop a line when possible.

The theme suggested by Jan for March is : Recreational activities That's gonna bring a lot of fun in this place!

A mystery box of film arrived at my office today! Some Ilford 120 and some Kodak 135 BW. It took me a moment to figure out what was happening. With a French postal mark, who in Paris knew me? Then I remembered the "Magic Roll" !

So thanks Marc! Now I'll have to go shoot something with this nice gift.
