Let's see your Leica M

Thanks Edodo, I like your M4 with that shiny summicron. Looks like we have similar taste.

Because of my love affair with rangefinders, the work flow of digital, and the fact that shooting without a back up is a big no no.
The M8 is my camera of choice, I'm not going to compromise my photography if one goes down on a shoot.

Fair 'nuff. Nice stuff on your Flickr site by the way.

A couple of questions regarding photos on this page:

1. Erik, how did you black out the "M8" on your camera? With a Sharpie or was it more involved?

2. Philippe, is that a PS trick, or did you take a bunch of instant photos? Either way, it looks pretty cool!

It seems like Don always is out of stock on the black dots and I dont botter going the Leica way so yes. A sharpie is all I used.

I bought a black dot from Don. I'm still waiting for it to arrive. Before I contacted Don I called Leica, but they said no dice. Those black dots are hard to come by! Leica sent me a red one for free, though. If you don't feel like removing all that black ink, you could just get a free replacement dot from Leica.

it's ALIVE!
