What have you just BOUGHT?

"Leica M2 and 50mm Elmar F2.8 ..... For £460!"
Nice find!

I bought a bag of cameras at the flea market today for $30. Inside were a black Nikkormat EL with a Micro-Nikkor 55/3.5, a black Ricoh KR-5 with 50/1.9 and a black Sears/Mamiya TLS 1000MXB with 200/3.5. All of them were reasonably clean andwell maintained and all of them functioned. All the lenses looked great as they had filters on them. Last week I bought a very clean and functioning Retina IIIC for $40 from the same guy.

Lots of good bargain buying going on, I see! I'm awaiting arrival of a lightly used Summarit 35mm f/2.5, and will fetch it from the postal place with the Nissan Frontier 4x4 pickup got a few weeks back... anticipating a slippery winter :)

B+W 52mm Kaesemann CPL MRC filter
B+W 72mm Kaesemann CPL MRC filter
Domke 1" Strap (without swivel this time)
SureFire CR123A batteries for light meter
Vortex Media Storm Jacket SLR camera cover (anticipating rain traveling in a couple weeks)

A few weeks ago a Canon Canonet QL17 GIII for $45 in beautiful condition with a working battery. Just got the new seal kit. My first real rangefinder! Next week I have to go to LA for work and hoping to get a little time to hit Venice to try it out.

Stumbled upon a Ricoh GR-D V1 and nobody bid any decent amount so it was mine for EUR 21.00:cool:

Teamed it up with a small Unomat GN20 flash and a tabletop tripod: pocketable 8MP RAW-capable set-up.

Too bad it won't sync with the flash off-camera, no matter what I try. But, the Ricoh is cool!

Wow, what a steal! Congrats!

Try one of these triggers:

They are inexpensive at about 30% of the costs of your camera ;-)

They work fine with the Leica, Nikon and Ricoh cameras, I tried them on.

Black Gaffer Tape that is one of the most useful "accessories" in photography. I use it to patch up leaks and to reinforce torn camera bags.

2-Mamiya AFDs, three backs, one insert, 80mm and 150mm AF lenses, one Custom Bracket, one Stroboframe swivel bracket, Metz 70 MZ5 with two batteries (and charger) Mamiya flash modules. Somebody traded it all in on a Nikon DSLR, lens, and flash to shoot weddings. I think I would have just kept the Mamiyas and spent my money on a digital back.

an older Arca-Swiss 4x5 C (base and center tilts). I have a project in mind where a monorail camera makes more sense then the field cameras I have. Now I think I have a bit too many view cameras though...
Time to sell some stuff again I guess...

Olympus Zuiko 100mm f2.8 to go with my OM2n, Tamron 24mm f2.5 and Zuiko 50mm f1.8. Landscape, street, travel and portrait requirements sorted in 3 tiny lenses and one very compact body.

A Nikon EM and 100mm Series E lens for 6 dollars. The EM is no good, but the lens is clean and clear, and will work nicely on my F3HP. For 6 bucks I couldn't pass it up.
