Weekend Photography Plans: What are you up to?

It seems that there are strong storms in many places on earth and that they occurred out of the blue and unexpected.

We gave sunshine right now but rain is in the weather forecast for most of today. I may start preparing for the trip.

No photography for me in this weekend. But I charged the batteries of the m10 for a family trip to visit some relatives in the next days.

What have you been doing during the Fourth of July extended weekend?
We had plenty of rain, but it ended a couple of hours ago. My wife and I drove to downtown to get our cappuccinos and pastry first, and then to Joe Patti's Seafood Market. We had our daily cappuccinos with some pastry there.. I took some photos of the water and a boat with the newly acquired Heliar Classic 50mm 1.5.

Let's re-energize this thread! There used to be noted over 1.2 million views here.

I'm on holiday in Cornwall UK so taking photos every day with my new Fuji kit. I think I regret buying the 16-55mm f2.8. It is really too heavy. The new Tamron or the 16-80mm f4 will probably replace it when I get home.

Last weekend we had just come back home after a few days holiday therefore much work to do! No time for photography I simply downloaded a few pictures my wife too with her D-109, In my opinion they were not bad for an amateur

It is weekend again! We have no rain after getting rain nearly nonstop for the past ten days.
I am planning to take some photos locally and of the family maybe.

What are your plans for the weekend?

My small northern Michigan town is having its annual summer festival. Great opportunities for street photography. I'll wander around town with some sort of film camera, shooting Lomography Metropolis 400 film (a truly bizarre C-41 film).

Daughter is home this weekend, training for a Horse Show next weekend in Vegas...went with her to the Barn to watch her ride...
I haven't looked at the shots from today yet...

Weekend plans are for the gainfully employed.

Every time I see this thread pop up I think, darn, I wish I could contribute but I’m retired and every day is a weekend for me. I’ve been retired for about 7 years. Happily retired I should say.

Most of my weekend plans involve avoiding weekenders.

All the best,
Mike

Hi Mike,
This thread had over 1.2 million views in the old RFF website until this new site emerged and all past views are not shown anymore. It is really like our RFF Cafe where people just say Hello and may say "I am tired this weekend and I will do the laundry". It is just to stay connected.
