Leica Q photos

Thanks for starting this thread, Max. Surely, it is destined to become even more and more interesting/fun/informative as more and more Q's get into the hands of all the good photographers here on RFF.

Although my favorite FL is 50mm I've always enjoyed and admired 28mm images but have to work hard to use it myself.

IMO, a 28 makes for complex compositions,--- I must pause and consider before releasing the shutter. It also challenges me to get closer to the subject than my typical comfort zone. But there ARE rewards!

As you rightly pointed out, Photon42, "a challenge, but isn't life about that?

Some fooling around with a new toy ... after dark.

From Thursday. My home town holds a small event annually, when they fire up the Christmas lighting on the main street. This portrait was taken at the market place where the main event was.

If you're looking for Q-photos, check out this blog:

www.leicakuh.de

("Kuh" is the German word for "cow" and it is pronounced just like the letter "Q" in German. So, it's a pun.)

ref. Leicakuh ...

Sorry what's the point of a blog about the Leica Q without a single color shot?
Yeah, I did read the comment about "color is overrated" but get a Monochrome when you want to photograph in b&w.
