Hong Kong Photos taken far afield by HK Club members

I didn't know you'd picked up a D700, Max! I haven't ever shot the M8, but the first time I had the D700 in my hands - at the press conference in Tokyo in July 2008, which I stumbled into - I was amazed - especially with the high ISO capabilities. I have been happily shooting it now for almost a year and the results are staggering. I use all my old manual focus Nikkor lenses and am very pleased. But it is a monster to lug around!

I picked up mine before I left HK in January, the price was good at that time!

I have to agree with you, it is a great camera but it is heavy, especially with Zeiss lenses, they are all metal and the ZF85/1.4 has a huge front element!

PS: I still have not made my mind regarding the ZF25 or ZF28!! Speed is not an issue with the D700 so f2.8 will not make any difference compare to f2.0. Also the ZF25 can focus pretty close for almost macro like effects.

Max,

Nice shots and thanks for keeping RFFHK alive! The developing and scanning seems quite good, you found good technical support here in Singapore!
