Ricoh GR Digital (I,II,III,IV)

If old GRD starts to open lens cover partially and it is cured by finger push, how long before camera goes brick?

I'm not sure the lens cover issue would result in the camera bricking, KoFe.

In fact, I think it would continue to operate well until a more vital part dies. It's in no way indicative of impending doom. It's precursor/sister the GX100 has no lens cover. Not a big deal, I don't think. But probably annoying.

Might as well post an image while I'm here.

Thank you. I was mixing it with shutter been closed problem.
Google search shows this problem is with the latest gr now.
Some reported just to pull this junk out. One leaf has spring, second doesn’t.

GRD original came from Japan via Ocean and Vancouver. Took 3+ months.
Was sold as working, but plastic part of SD card in the reader and glitchy ADJ.
All solved for now, except horizontal line on high ISO.

Very classy camera.

One superior function GRD has, but GRD III is missing. With display turned off, pressing shutter button activates display and turns off again after exposure it taken.
