I have uploaded some photos from LR5 DNG to jpg without any other changes made to any of the image files. I can make each image look better, but not now. I will add images soon.

Nice series. The hologon doesn‘t perform bad in the corners on an M8.

Btw is Norway really that expensive?
Iceland is a total rip off...

It gives me a 21mm view with vintage look and good sharpness.
Norway is very costly to visit. Very costly overall: gas, food in restaurants, hotels, transportation, ... anything.
I made sure to get a hybrid car as our rental car from Hertz. It saved on the gas expenses.

Now that I am back home, I switched the Hologon back to the M9 with option B&W+DNG. for the trip, a 21mm was sufficiently wide, so I used the 16mm lens on the M8 and the 35 Lux on the M9.

The ferry from Denmark to Germany can be taken from Gedser to Rostock. Gedser is a very very quiet place.

This was our hotel room in Gedser.

Norway is a beautiful country, I've been there once and looking forward to another visit. Yes it's expensive, but if it's only for a week or two of your life, so be it!

Great pictures Raid. The M8 / Hologon combo is a good pair.

Thank you.

Yes, it is OK for 2 weeks there. Norway is a beautiful country It was my 4th trip there.

As for the M8 and the Hologon, I read an online post about such a pair when there was no M9 yet, and the user praised it a lot.

Beautiful photos Raid. Excellent use of your gear, I'm sure you know what to do with your Hologon! And how to do :)
Yes, Norway is a special place...

robert

PS: I see two photographers in one of your photos ...

Thank you, Robert.
Of course, Simo and you are in the photo! This was a very nice road trip together.
The Hologon needs some finesse to get good images from it. It is easy to underexpose and also to overexpose when adjusting the exposure.

Here are some photos from Rostock, Germany.

Using the M9 for color images I can see the usefulness of something such as cornerfix. Else, it is not really needed.

I see that Hologon is working out great for you Raid! Very nice compositions!
Still thinking about getting one..

Thank you Emile.
It is a special lens. It is less costly to get a (well corrected) CV 15mm III lens, say. There is also the CV 10mm lens that Godfrey is posting images from at RFF. It would be cool to compare such lenses side by side somehow.

Raid, did you use the lens with or without the filter? I remember when they closed them out and I kept going back and forth about picking one up and finally passed on it my mistake. I am now using a 10-18 on my A7s for crazy wide stuff, hard to get it right but when it works it's really nice.
