Mike,

Enjoy your vacation.

Hakone isn't that away.

Bill

Thanks, Bill, regrettably plans are delayed 'til next month. So, I'm still here.

BTW, my wife and I spent 3 days in Hakone a couple of months ago. I was quite astonished by how many foreign visitors were there. Hakone is a big place and there were foreigners everywhere; Onsen resorts, museums, bus stops and train stations, restaurants, shopping streets, nature trails... everywhere! Of course that's not a bad thing, it was just remarkable to me. COVID is firmly in Japan's rearview-mirror and international tourism is in full swing.

All the best,
Mike

Hi Mike,

I've been observing the same thing. We were in Otaru and Jozankei 3 weeks ago. I'm in the process of relocating to Kamata. Pretty busy now, that and medical issues due to agent orange are keeping me tied down.

Bill
