Couldn't resist. Two from the annual Copake Bike Auction (2005). Sadly, :( did not make it to the 2006 edition....

Whatever the camera (Canonet QL17 GIII, Agfa Synchro Box, Great Wall, Ricoh Gr1s, Nikon FE)...a bicycle shot on every roll.
Hey. I'm in Holland. That'll be why. :)

Nice shots Lynn. I love bike photos from Holland! The bike culture there gives rise to a great variety of personalisations. It also appears that bikes are kept going for decades and so occasionally they give a photograph a wonderful 'vintage' feeling.

my '69 raleigh w/oilbath gearcase. Owned and ridden daily by me for 15 years. 28" wheels!
We found a ladies' version of that same bike abandoned in our back alley about three years ago. The bike is an absolute beauty, even though it is in desparate need of restoration.

I'm a huge fan of the SE Asian cyclos, and I'm hoping to head to Phnom Penh this fall to do a more intensive project on the drivers and their bikes.

Steel EAI Bareknuckle, Ambrosio cronos laced to dura ace with glue-on tubular tires, sugino cranks. Weird hippie store that sells wooden furniture.
