Any more info on the lenses?
Were they designed by Fujifilm?

Did Hasselblad contribute anything other than rebranding?

The XPan really isn't that large a camera. Fairly discreet, and certainly smaller than a boxy DSLR.

It's got a really great heavy heft to it too - this is a solid well-built camera.
 
Love these, particularly the third one! Wow!
How do you feel about the xpan vs. a Leica witha wide angle?

Back when I had an Xpan, I got a freak coincidence with some slide film. Two frames taken in succession makes the background house look as if it's whole, going from one frame into the next. It's the same guy on both pictures and there was only one wheel on the beam.

I parted ways with the Xpan, because after 40 rolls I still felt I wasn't jelling with the camera... I simply didn't see the world with panoramic eyes. That, and the format was a pain to scan. I do miss it from time to time, but regular 35mm format is where I'm at.

the Xpan is an awesome travel/street camera and fairly discreet.
alas the weight is probably one of the main reason why I decided to let it go.. for now at least
but if you want to travel with only one camera and one lens.. IMO the Xpan w/ 45mm is on a league of it's own.
you can shoot it wide-angle panoramic and if you really want to, in regular 3:2 45mm

I made an impulse buy yesterday morning, a Holga 135PAN to satisfy my panoramic need :D
 
Some new additions, to my newly-returned and newly repaired XPan. So fantastic to have this camera back again. These are from about a week/10 days ago.
