Hey Hey! Hey Ho! We're number 2872!

I fitted the BCL-15 onto my G5 and went out on patrol for urban images. Using the G5's entirely silent electronic shutter mode, the combination is deadly-silent and as quick reacting on the shutter as it can get. A great street-shooting combo.

I wrote a short piece about this on my blog, here.

Lumix G5, BCL-15. UNM area of Albuquerque. I use a preset development parameter in Silky Pix that corrects for the lens's CA and curvature of field.

Love the sharp results some of you are getting with this glorified lenscap. Here's from my first stroll with it capping my old EP1.

It's a fun little lens Sug.

Order placed. Dang it.

I'll mate it with my E-PM1 which came "free" with the underwater housing. I think it can be a good combination. The most useful body cap and the most useful housing packing material. ;)

Haven't had time to do real photo walk or anything, but a few shots I managed to take today. I'm surprisingly liking the most expensive non-Leica body cap. (or the cheapest non-toy lens) And the E-PM1 and this (and CV mini finder) make a cute little package.
