I saw this thread yesterday and wondered how come I missed it the first time around (2011). I was all set to post the numbers for my S3, only to see that I had already done so, back then!
Earlier this year I went in and cleaned the very hazy finder optics -- much better now, and a pretty easy task as well. I also adjusted the rangefinder -- also a very easy task, one of the simplest I've encountered. Last fall I had shot a roll with the camera, using expired film, and the results were not impressive. Hopefully a cleaner VF and more aligned RF (and current dated film) will make a difference. But I've found the compact Olympus and Canonet models yield better pictures, in my experience.
