A few more photos from today.
It has beautiful depth to color and the black and white conversions work well too. Even my wife commented that it has a very signature look. I’ve still got a bit to go with getting used to it. It’s more complicated, especially the autofocus modes, than I thought it would be.

My x1 should be somewhere between Germany and Italy...I sent it to Wetzlar a few days before the lockdown...I should look for it ...

Nice one Robert! I will play too albeit w X Vario as admittedly, with some shame, and after some deliberation I let my X 113 go.

Glad you're getting it fixed up! Well worth it to have it renewed for another 11 years of fun.
I'm really enjoying having a quick little camera for snaps. Not a replacement for my M, but a nice addition.
I think the colors are fantastic, but it has a great b&w look too.

24/7 caregiving doesn't allow much time for photo work but, I manage to get a few things done during the week. The X1 is special. While I shoot mostly medium format these days, I have found that I can get amazing results with X1 of the same landscape scene I shoot with MFD. it is a lot of fun!
This will give you an idea of what I have been doing... there are more on the Leica forum somewhere there. I can't seem to get a decent image posted here anymore though.

Got this to have something quick, small and light for family shots. Working great so far.
Iso3200 for both I think. Meant to set to 800 but overshot while trying to get him awake lol.

Funny to see it next to my M240. While it's not a huge size savings, it's less than half the weight which is appealing for some outings.

Nice to see this Robert. I recall when you were posting with X1 on the LUF. I don't recall this one off-hand, but it's nice to see it here. Interesting what looks like a light jazz combo w voice but seeing the guitarist is playing a flattop style, suggests a folkier sound!

Hey, there, I have no clue... I have no host site, just uploading a tiny thumbnail image from my photo library is just not worth the effort.
The max image size/resolution is too small here.
I do post occasionally on another forum where the images posted are a good size and well worth it.
